Maxwell Football High School Award
James Streapy has been selected by the Maxwell Football Club as one of our
2004 recipients of the Mini Max High School Football Award for excellence
in scholastic football. Fifty players from the Philadelphia region have
been selected for this prestigious honor.
The awards will be presented at the Maxwell Club's High School Awards
Dinner that will be held at the Normandy Farms Conference Center in Blue
Bell Pennsylvania. The date of this event is Thursday January 13, 2005.
Check in will open at 5:15 and dinner will begin promptly at 6:30. You and
your player will be invited as guests of the Maxwell Club and we encourage
you to arrive as early as possible so that pictures can be taken of your
player. Directions will be posted on our website.
Parents, siblings, friends, coaches and school district personnel are
welcome to attend. The ticket cost is $40.00 a person and tickets will be
available on the Club's website
www.maxwellfootballclub.org.
Tickets can also be purchased by calling 267-973-3680 if needed. We expect
over 500 guests at this years awards dinner and we encourage you to
purchase tickets early as seating will be limited.
The evenings events will culminate with the announcement of the Jim Henry
Award for the High School Player of the year in the Philadelphia region.
This Jim Henry Award is generally recognized as on of the most prestigious
high school football awards in the United States. The Jim Henry winner
will be invited to join us on February 25,2005 at the Maxwell Awards
Banquet in Atlantic City New Jersey. He will receive his Henry Award at
this event along with the winners of the Bert Bell Award (NFL MVP),
Maxwell Award (Collegiate Player of the Year), Bednarik Award (Collegiate
Defensive Player of the Year), and the George Munger Award (NCAA Coach of
the Year). There will be many NFL and NCAA players and coaches with us on
February 25th and it will be a most exciting evening for the Jim Henry
winner.
The Maxwell Club will be publishing a souvenir dinner program for our high
school awards banquet. Each player will have a bio with background and
statistics listed in this program. Maxwell Club members are currently
selling advertising space in this dinner program to help offset the costs
of the dinner and to fund the scholarship fund that directly benefits the
high school awards candidates. We are asking for your assistance in
helping us meet our goals to fund the scholarship program. We are asking
your kind consideration in supporting your player with and advertisement
in our
dinner program. The school/booster advertisement is offered at a cost of
$250.00 and will be attached to your player's bio page in the booklet. If
your school, booster club of football parents organization is in a
position to make a contribution to our dinner
program fund it would be greatly appreciated. Please have anyone
interested in supporting your athlete through the placement of a program
