Special Recognition
Chris Donley - Chris was one of 40 players from Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey to be nominated for the prestigious Jim Henry Award issued by the Maxwell Club. Chris, along with the other nominees, received a "Mini-Maxwell" which is a smaller version of the Maxwell Award that is awarded to the top college football player in the nation. Dave Fischer - Dave Fischer was one of 30 scholar athletes from Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties to be named National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete. The award ceremony was held on May 5th at Villanova University. Head Football Coach Andy Talley of Villanova is heavily involved in the Philadelphia chapter of this organization and organized the evening. Dave's accomplishment will be forever recognized out in South Bend, Indiana - Home of the College Football Hall of Fame. Any visitor can pull up the names of all the past recipients of this award at the Hall of Fame". Way to go Dave!
